On 15 May 2024, Nicolas Rallo International Civil Aviation Organization Regional Director for Europe and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) visited the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”.
Nicolas Rallo was welcomed by Nabizoda Aziz, Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Begijonzoda Loik, Director General of SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, deputies and heads of departments of the enterprise.
During his familiarisation, Nicolas Rallo emphasized: “The opening of the new air route “POMIR-AGVUT” between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China is the best achievement of SUE “Tajikairnavigation”.
It should be noted that in the course of familiarisation with the activity of the enterprise, the ICAO expert expressed satisfaction and highly evaluated the activity of the enterprise’s employees in the development of air navigation services in Tajikistan, ensuring flight safety in the region, in particular the proper activity within the enterprise, upgrading it with modern advanced equipment and technologies of the industry that were purchased and modernised by the efforts of the enterprise management and gave useful advice for further development of the key area of aviation – air navigation.
“I am very excited from Nicolas Rallo’s visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, that is his first visit. It should be highlighted that ICAO’s contribution on implementation the projects aimed at improving flight safety and developing the fruitful use of our republic’s airspace is very important”, - stated Loik Begijonzoda.
Nicolas Rallo, ICOA Regional Director for Europe and North Atlantic, as well as familiarised with the work of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and exchanged views with its specialists. As a national symbol of Tajik statehood, the guest was gifted with national presents.
