PARTICIPATION IN THE C5+1 CONFERENCE

On June 17, 2024, the China-Central Asia (C5+1) Civil Aviation Cooperation Working Group Conference started its work in Xi’an City People’s Republic of China with the participation of the management and representatives of the Civil Aviation Agency and companies providing air navigation services of the countries Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and China. Urozi Rahmon, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Deputy of the Development Department Head as well as participated in the work of the conference and delivered a speech.

At the conference, the industry experts discussed issues on strengthening flight safety in the region and solving existing problems.

In the framework of his participation in the conference, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” representative conducted a fruitful meeting with Miao Xuan, Deputy Director-General of the Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) of the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) and Bureau representatives and specialists. During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in the field of civil aviation and provide air navigation services.

In connection with the great importance of opening the air route between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China that was implemented in 2023, an exchange of views was held and mutual understanding was reached on the implementation of its second phase.
