As we reported earlier, Mirzokhonzoda Umed, Chief Engineer CNS Department of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” is undergoing training in Tokyo, Republic of Japan under the program “Implementation and Management of Air Navigation Service Technology (ANS)”.
As part of the training program, its participants improved their knowledge of Foreign Object Detection Systems (FODDS), MLAT/WAM and Remote Tower. To expand their knowledge and get acquainted with the operation of equipment and tools, the program participants visited the Japan Research Institute of Electronic Navigation and met with the General Director and its specialists.
It is worth mentioning that research is currently being conducted at the institute to put the remote tower into use, the necessary equipment and tools have been installed at several Japanese airports, and daily tests are being carried out.
At the same time, participants are improving their knowledge on GBAS, SBAS, GNSS and GIPTA through practical classes with industry experts at the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB). The participants also met with the CEO and industry experts of the Network Performance Assessment Center (NPAC) and got acquainted with the work of new technologies in the field of civil aviation.
It should be mentioned that the training on the program “Implementation and Management of Air Navigation Service Technology (ANS)” began on July 8 and will last until July 30, 2024 in Tokyo, Republic of Japan.
