In the framework of the program “Implementation and Management of Air Navigation Service Technology (ANS)” in Japan Mirzokhonzoda Umed Chief Engineer of the Department of Radio Technical Support of Flights and Aviation Telecommunication of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” as well as participated in it, the participants visited Naha International Airport and met with the management and specialists of the industry.
It is worth noting that Naha Airport serves 400 airplanes per day. Further, on Fukuoka Island, the program participants got acquainted with the operation of air traffic service centers, the airport, and the use of the system and equipment providing air navigation services. During the meeting with the General Director and industry experts, it was noted that the airport serves 500-550 airplanes per day, which corresponds to one airplane every 2 minutes.
It should be reminded that on July 30, 2024, the advanced training program at the International Center in Japan was completed. As a result, certificates were awarded to specialists from the Republic of Tajikistan, Mozambique, Nepal and Djibouti.
It is worth noting that the training program “Implementation and Management of Air Navigation Service Technology (ANS)” was held from July 8 to 30 2024 in Tokyo, Japan, and its participants improved their knowledge of GBAS, SBAS, GNSS and GIPTA.
