In the framework of declaring 2024 “Year of Legal Education” with the participation of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director First Deputy Davron Shodmonbekzoda hosted the meeting of employees with the Head of General Control Department of the Transport Prosecutor’s Office of Tajikistan, Counselor of Justice, 2nd class Sodikzoda Dadajon Abdusami and senior prosecutor of this department, Counselor of Justice, 1st class Salimzoda Temur Nuriddin.
Davron Shodmonbekzoda emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the wise and visionary policy of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, is striving to create a law-abiding and justice-promoting society and in the framework of the celebration 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Tajikistan, 2024 has been declared the “Year of Legal Education”.
This initiative aims to cover a number of critical and timely issues and it is expected that effective action will be taken to solve them. In particular, in the direction of increasing the level of legal education of citizens, promoting legal and democratic values, strengthening the institution of human rights, forming a sustainable system of legal behavior, irreconcilability to any violation of the law and inevitability of legal responsibility, increasing citizens’ access to legal information and others.
In his speech Temur Salimzoda considered the changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Ordering of Celebrations and Rites in the Republic of Tajikistan” and the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of a Child”, and the content of each part of these laws was reviewed.
It should be noted that the changes and amendments to the above-mentioned laws were made in order to protect the values of national culture, prevent superstition and fanaticism, raise the socio-economic level of the people, strengthen the responsibility of parents for the education and upbringing of their children in the spirit of patriotism and respect for national values, and protect the rights and interests of the child.
