A solemn meeting dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 100th anniversary of the Civil Aviation Day was conducted at the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” with the participation of the enterprise management and employees, as well as industry veterans.
SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director Loik Begijonzoda congratulated the employees and veterans of the industry on the historical holidays and reminded the independence’s role in aviation and air navigation development.
“For the last 7 years with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe City Rustami Emomali, as well as with the initiatives and measures of the enterprise management aviation equipment upgraded, modern conditions for the effective activity of specialists and flight safety created, as well as expanded the flight geography. The result of all these supports has opened the new air corridor between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China POMIR-AGVUT, which is considered important step in turning the Republic of Tajikistan into the transit country”, - noted in his speech Loik Begijonzoda.
When it comes to the aviation industry, the most important issue is flight safety. Ensuring flight safety in the airspace of the country is entrusted to the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” and from the first day of its establishment the enterprise fulfils the requirements of airspace users, ensuring flight safety of domestic and foreign airlines, in the areas of civil aviation airports and carries out activities in the areas of aviation works within its responsibility on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. In addition to providing aviation services at Dushanbe International Airport, enterprise has its branches in Khujand, Kulob and Bokhtar cities and ensures flight safety throughout country airspace.
Over the years, enterprise has contributed not only to improving the level of aviation services, also to developing civil aviation, opening new corridors, expanding flight geography and establishing cooperation with the most influential organizations of the industry.
On June 27, 2019, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the new Control Tower of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” at Dushanbe International Airport that every day assists in planning and coordinating the use of airspace, providing flight information, regulating, reporting accidents and monitoring compliance with the rules governing the use of the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan under current conditions and in accordance with the requirements of international air navigation standards. At the same time, Tower enabled the dispatchers to carry out their activities using modern equipment according to civil aviation and ICAO requirements and standards. As well as, the new modern building with working, training and education facilities improved the working conditions of the air traffic controllers.
Then, veterans of the aviation sector delivered speech and emphasized that thanks to the State Independence today Tajik aviation has reached new heights and the provision of air navigation services has become in line with international standards.
Anvar Makhsudov, a veteran of the industry, recalling the history of the establishment of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” noted that independence provided the opportunity to improve operations and access to modern equipment of the industry, which increased the level of service.
In his speech, the Chief of Staff of the Director General of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, Zafar Ahmadzoda emphasized that the country’s civil aviation developed during the period of independence and contributed to the expansion of the flight geography.
Trade Union Head of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Isroil Nuraliev noted that civil aviation is one of the strategic spheres of the country’s economy, and for 33 years of State Independence with the support of the country’s high leadership, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, significant successes have been achieved step by step.
During the free and sincere conversation between employees and experienced specialists, it was highlighted that young specialists should direct their activities to strengthen the State Independence, its protection, as well with high sense of responsibility to perform their duties.
In the framework of the celebration the 100th anniversary of the founding of civil aviation in the Republic of Tajikistan, veterans and leading and experienced specialists of the industry were awarded with certificates and memorable gifts.
In order to familiarize with the modern conditions of provision the air navigation services, the guests visited the Control Tower, familiarized with the working and training classes, and exchanged views with young specialists.
