On September 10, in the city of Konibodom, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, put into operation a water line of the tributary of the Syrdaryo River to irrigate 2500 hectares of land in the villages of Somoniyon, Kuchkak, Faizbor, Bekobod and Khamirjoi. This facility is one of the items of the plan designed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence, and with its commissioning, the problem of the lack of clean water in this region has been completely eliminated.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon was informed that the “Istiklol” water pumping station consists of 2 water lines, and water is transported from Bahri Tojik (Tajik Sea) to agricultural lands from a distance of 9200 meters.
During the acquaintance with the project of the “Istiklol” water pumping station, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the construction works. It was emphasized that the officials should revive the work in the direction of irrigation of cultivated lands and take into account the needs of farmers.
According to the Department of Agriculture of the city of Konibodom, more access to fresh water will allow to expand the area of arable land due to the abandoned lands and agricultural circulation.
Farmers and residents of the city of Konibodom expressed their gratitude to the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon for the care of the state and promised that they will work with a high sense of responsibility and make a suitable contribution to supply the domestic market with fresh products.

It was reported that the farmers of the city, taking into account all forms of farming, this year carried out spring sowing on the area of 14 thousand 82 hectares.
Farmers emphasized that they take every word of the Head of State as an example of their work and try to use every inch of land. This year, by growing a rich harvest, along with supplying the domestic market with fresh fruits and vegetables, they also exported products abroad.
The Leader of the Nation expressed his gratitude to the workers for their significant contribution in ensuring the country's food security.
It is worth mentioning that the city of Konibodom is considered one of the important agrarian regions of the country, and the main occupation of the people is agriculture and animal husbandry.
President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working trip to the city of Konibodom, got acquainted with the progress of construction works on the Konibodom-Kuchkak highway.
It was reported that the implementation of the project “Improving regional and Central Asian communication routes, BRAMOM-4” started in March 2023, and works are smoothly carried out in 4 regions of the Sughd Province, including Kurush-Bekobod 12.3 kilometers, Dehmoy-Bobojon Ghafurov 22 kilometers, Bobojon Ghafurov-Khistevarz 6.6 kilometers and Konibodom-Kuchkak 10.3 kilometers, in total with a total length of 51.2 kilometers.
Taking into account the international importance of this road, it will be built on the basis of the first and third technical level of road construction. 11 bridges with a total length of 457.3 meters are planned to be renovated in 4 parts of Sughd regional highways.
The financier of the project is the International Development Association of the World Bank Group, and the customer is the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan. The construction of this road is undertaken by the “China Railway in Tajikistan-USZUY” Company.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the modernization project, emphasized that this road is of great importance and lays an additional foundation for further raising the level of people’s well-being and the development of the country's economy. Therefore, it was considered necessary to pay close attention to construction works and the use of quality products, so that the road will be built according to international standards and serve the people for many years.
It should be noted that years ago, the movement of any vehicles on this road was difficult. Now, after the complete modernization of the road, many years of problems of the population have been solved, thus the road and transport infrastructure will be significantly improved.
During the conversation, the President of the country instructed officials and road builders to carry out the construction works with high responsibility and high quality, and to make a suitable contribution to the prosperity and development of the country.
In turn, the road builders promised the Leader of the Nation that they will use all their skills to build this road, which is of national importance.
The workshop was built on an area of 230 square meters with the contribution of businessman Rustamzoda Firdavs, and after the opening, 20 local residents were provided with permanent jobs and good wages.
Workers learn the intricacies of working on production equipment and independently produce high-quality shoes. In the future, by setting up the work in two shifts, the number of workers will be increased to 45 people.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, while viewing the working conditions and the production process at the workshop, praised the quality of the products and assessed the operation of this enterprise as a good basis for the development of light industry in rural areas.
12 shoe-making devices, flower-throwing devices and other necessary equipment are available and installed in the workshop. The production capacity of the enterprise is 130 pairs per month and 50 thousand pairs per year.
Men's and children's footwear for students is the company's product list, which is all imported. The company's products are of high quality and competitive in the domestic market.
The Head of State urged the owner of the workshop to increase the volume of production and jobs for the rural population.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that the country has favorable conditions and opportunities for supplying the domestic market with leather shoes, and entrepreneurs and investors are establishing new factories and enterprises using the benefits and concessions offered by the Government of the country. The completion of this measure will allow the import of shoes from abroad to decrease.
After the opening of the shoe production enterprise of the Limited Liability Company “Faroghat”, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, became familiar with the project of building a physical-mathematical cognitive recreation resort at the special educational institution named after Ochilboy Juraev, which is being built in the light of the announcement of 2020-2040 as the twenty years of learning and development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences in the field of science and education. Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and guidance to officials to build this resort at a high and modern level.
This enterprise was built by businessman Navruz Yusufov in the framework of "Years of Industrial Development" and partnership between the state and the private sector on an area of 40 hundred acres of land.
Construction work at the enterprise began in December 2023 and was completed with high quality in 9 months with the involvement of 20 workers from among the local residents.
As soon as the “Nerui Kand” enterprise began to operate, 25 local residents were provided with jobs and good wages.
Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was informed that the direction of activity of this enterprise is the processing and packing of dried apricots, and its production capacity is one thousand tons per year.
Raw materials for the enterprise are purchased from farms in Konibodom, Isfara and Asht districts.
The installed equipment processes and packages products with high quality meeting the requirements of international standards.
In the production line of this enterprise, dried fruit is washed, sorted and processed, and finally packed in special boxes.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the company’s capabilities, praised the quality of construction works and its role in providing new jobs.
In addition to its building, the enterprise also has other auxiliary facilities, including a warehouse for storage of raw and finished products.
As it was mentioned, the provided privileges and state support and a high sense of patriotism encouraged entrepreneurs to build industrial enterprises and constructive measures.
Samples of goods and products of this industrial enterprise were exhibited in the courtyard of the enterprise.
The industry plays an effective role in the development of the national economy, and creating new enterprises, jobs, increasing the list of competitive products and their exports will contribute to the well-being of the people.
