5TH CHINA-TAJIKISTAN CNS/ATM COORDINATION MEETING OF SUE “TAJIKAIRNAVIGATION” IN CHINA

On October 29, 2024, the 5th China-Tajikistan CNS/ATM Coordination Meeting began its work in Urumqi city with the participation SUE “Tajikairnavigation”  delegation under the leadership Loik Begijonzoda SUE “Tajikairnavigation”  General Director and high-ranking representatives of the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China.

In light of the previous achievements and outcomes reached between the two countries, the aim of the meeting was to strengthen bilateral communication and cooperation in the field of CNS/ATM and promote coordination of daily air traffic control operations, technical support, air traffic flow management and aviation meteorological service cooperation between the two air navigation service providers (ANSPs).  

“Friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries have been continuously strengthened and developed, as well have acquired the character of a comprehensive strategic partnership. It is worth noting that the People’s Republic of China is considered one of the largest investors and trade partners of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Tajikistan fully supports the initiative of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the revival of the economic environment of the Great Silk Road”, – stated Loik Begijonzoda with recalling effective cooperation, development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation, as well as the opening of a new air corridor between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.

With introducing the technological progress Director General of Xinjiang ATMB, Civil Aviation Administration of China expressed hope for further cooperation with SUE “Tajikairnavigation” on ATM and CNS, so the ATM industries of China and Tajikistan would thrive.

In the continuation of the meeting, issues of cooperation in providing air navigation services through the new POMIR-AGVUT air corridor have been discussed. It should be noted that this event will continue until November 1.
