Employees of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” took part in the ICAO Route Development Group – East Special Coordination Meeting (RDGE-SCM/2024), as well as in the 39th meeting of the Coordination Group of Experts and the Eurasian Coordination Council. On the first day of the ICAO Route Development Group – East Special Coordination Meeting, which started its work on November 6, 2024 in Tashkent, the reports of the participating countries such as Tajikistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as international organizations such as IATA, Eurocontrol, airlines such as Fin Air, KLM, Air France, Delta Airlines were heard.
Special attention was paid to ICAO recommendations on optimization of air traffic planning processes, civil-military coordination and measures in case of failures in global satellite navigation signals.
The event continued with a discussion of strategies and measures applicable in crisis situations with the participation of representatives of ICAO, air navigation service providers and airlines.
It should be recalled that the event was attended by more than 50 specialists from international organizations, airlines and air navigation service providers from 15 countries. The meeting was also attended by observer countries from the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia, Korea, Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The event will continue until November 8.
