As previously reported, Bekhruz Sharipov, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Communication Navigation and Surveillance Department (CNS) engineer, passed qualifying course for advanced training in Korea. Behruz successfully completed the DVOR/DME Maintenance course from October 31 to November 10, 2023, at the Civil Aviation Training Center in Seoul, and received a certificate.
As part of the practical training, participants familiarised with Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) and Gimpo International Airport (GMP, RKSS).
It should be recalled that the above training purpose is to improve skills in DVOR operation. DVOR/DME Maintenance course, the oldest course among FTP training conducted annually since 2002, lectures on DVOR (Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range), one of the airport’s important navigation safety facilities.
DVOR/DME Maintenance training – the oldest course among the FTP courses held annually since 2002 - is dedicated to one of the most important airport navigation safety aids - DVOR, corresponding to ICAO International Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). Bekhruz Sharipov’s participation in the above course is another step to improve service in the process of radio technical support of flights.
