On August 22, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived on a state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, warmly welcomed the high-ranking guest at the Dushanbe International Airport.

In order to welcome the Head of the friendly state of Kazakhstan, the area of Dushanbe International Airport was festively decorated with national flags and slogans of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

Also, a large number of young people of the country welcomed the distinguished guest with flowers and flags of the two friendly countries, with chants of friendship and a special cultural program.

During a short conversation at the airport, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon hailed the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, to Tajikistan and expressed his belief that the results of the state visit will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of friendly relations, cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.
