The solemn event dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of civil aviation in the Republic of Tajikistan conducted with the participation of the management and employees of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, aviation industry enterprises, representatives of domestic and foreign airlines, industry veterans and guests.

In his congratulatory speech, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo congratulated attendees on the 100^th anniversary of aviation in Tajikistan.

Then Deputy Prime Minister Usmonzoda Usmonali congratulated the participant on National Aviation Day and recalled the significant achievements of Tajik national aviation during the period of the state independence.

 

It was highlighted that during the independence period, with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the national aviation of the Republic of Tajikistan developed, beneficial cooperation in the field of aviation and air communications with various countries of the world have been strengthened.

As part of the improvement and modernization of infrastructure, facilities and material and technical base, the level and quality of service of the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan complied with the requirements of the Air Code of the Republic of Tajikistan and international standards, including International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

In this context, it should be noted that the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” plays a key role in the development of Tajik civil aviation, and its object is considered to ensure flight safety in the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan. To implement its mission, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, the management of the enterprise takes timely measures to modernize, upgrade, access and install modern air navigation technologies, equipment and systems. The implemented initiatives contributed to the growth of influence of the Republic of Tajikistan in the aviation industry of the world, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” along with ICAO and IATA became a member of a number of regional and international air navigation organizations, including CANSO, SOCEA and others.

 

Along with ensuring flight safety, providing air navigation services, the enterprise contributes to opening new corridors and expanding the geography of flights, turning the Republic of Tajikistan into a transit country, which is one of the main goals of the high leadership of the Government and the state of the Republic. An example of this is the opening of a new corridor between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China – POMIR-AGVUT.

In the future, the management and employees of SUE “Tajikairnavigation” in the framework of the “open door” policy and “turning the Republic of Tajikistan into a transit country” will direct all their knowledge and skills to the effective use of aviation and air navigation potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, ensuring flight safety and develop the national economy.

In continuation of the event, the employees of the industry have been awarded with state awards and diplomas.
