On September 18, 2024, the Fifth Meeting of Joint Coordinating Committee for “The Capacity Development Project for Implementation of PBN (Performance Based Navigation) in Tajikistan” was conducted with the participation SUE “Tajikairnavigation” management and specialists, Imai Seiju Chief Representative, JICA Tajikistan Office, a number of agency specialists, as well as Japanese specialists who were present at the meeting virtually.

During the meeting, project implementation results from July 2023 to August 2024 were discussed, the plan of further activities until the end of the project implementation was agreed upon, and the term of this project has been extended.

 

It is worth noting that with the constant efforts of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director Loiq Begijonzoda, in order to correspond the level of air navigation services to ICAO requirements, the enterprise implemented “Capacity Development Project for Implementation of Performance Based Navigation”. Today, the implementation of the second project, which is aimed at improvement of airspace configuration, development of regional access and integration in provision of air navigation services, improvement of flight safety level and quality of air navigation service, continues.
