CONDUCT OF FLIGHTS WITHIN PBN PROJECT
As part of the Project on Capacity Development for the implementation of PBN (Performance-Based Navigation) in the Republic of Tajikistan on October 3, 2024, “PVS aero” Company representative performed a partial overflight of certain procedures at the international airports of the Republic of Tajikistan via “ACAM B350” aircraft according to the established procedure. According to the preliminary reports, no remarks on the part of the expert on the overflight schemes were revealed.
In order to fully perform test flights according to the schemes prepared by the specialists of SUE “Tajikairnavigation” under this project, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” employees paid a visit to Germany, the purpose of which is to conduct simulator validation of the developed PBN flight procedures in the international airports of the republic.
Since October 12, 2024, the simulator validation of the developed flight procedures started in the training center “Airbus A20N”, located at the base of “Lufthansa Aviation Training” in Frankfurt, Germany. During the validation of the simulator, about 50 flight procedures will be practiced. It should be noted that this procedure is part of the ICAO requirements, before the AIP publication procedure.
It’s apt to remark that in order to improve the level and quality of air navigation services and expand the flight geography, timely measures were taken by Loik Begijonzoda, General Director of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, and the implementation of this project has been fully supported.
