On November 17, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, arrived on a working visit to Sughd Province in order to get acquainted with the living conditions of the people and to stimulate economic, social and cultural development. 

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned “Luqmoni Hakim” Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Buston city, Sughd Province.

The diagnostic and treatment center was built by "Shifoi Zamon" LLC in order to meet the needs and protect the health of the population in the city of Buston. The center is equipped with modern devices and equipment and offers high-level medical services.

During the introduction of the new facility, it was informed that the building of "Luqmoni Hakim" Diagnostic and Treatment Center consists of 4 floors and a sub-floor, and its total area, including the courtyard, is 1,445 square meters. The facility was built in compliance with construction requirements and standards with the amount of 4.5 million somoni.

The center has departments of neurology, cardiology, endocrinology and urology, and it employs highly qualified doctors with international certificates, nurses and medical staff, a total of 50 specialists.

"Luqmoni Hakim" Diagnostic and Treatment Center has rooms for dental services, ultrasound, electroencephalogram, as well as rooms for shock wave treatment, computer tomography, internal medicine, body tempering room and a modern pharmacy.

Employees of the newly built center conduct digital x-ray examinations, laboratory and laser-cosmetological analyzes using modern field equipment, and treat patients with mountain wax, electric methods and vacuum massage.

The diagnostic and treatment center can provide good quality medical services to 90 people simultaneously.

Within the framework of the digitization program of the health sector, the center operates a unified data system, which serves for the reception and registration of patients and good and high-quality medical services for residents. It should be noted that digitization of the health sector is aimed at providing and supporting valuable information for the management of the health sector in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as monitoring the health status of the population and the activities of health institutions. It provides accurate, timely and well-distributed information that is accessible and user-friendly.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the conditions provided at "Luqmoni Hakim" Diagnostic and Treatment Center and highly appreciated the initiative of entrepreneurs. The establishment of such modern facilities is one of the main factors of the development of the health sector, and in general, it contributes to raising the level of medical services to the population and improving the health protection of residents.

 

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened on the street of industrialists in the city of Buston a shoe factory under the "Zari Sughd" Subsidiary Enterprise of gold embroidery, jewelry and vocational training.

The company's technology is imported from the People's Republic of China, and it has the capacity to produce up to 5 thousand pairs of shoes per month.

This new industrial enterprise in the city of Buston employs 20 people, and now 50 types of shoes are manufactured here. The annual capacity of the enterprise is the production of up to 60 thousand pairs of men's and children's shoes of various sizes.

It is planned to launch the production of shoe soles and expand the production capacity in the future in the second stage of the enterprise.

Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon considered the introduction of modern technology and the establishment of a new industrial enterprise as part of the implementation of the fourth strategic goal "Rapid industrialization of the country" to increase the production of import substitution products, create new jobs, boost the production of industrial products and develop the national economy as important and timely.

Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan got acquainted with the products of the "Zari Sughd" Subsidiary Enterprise of gold embroidery, jewelry and vocational training.

Jewelry, tailoring, hand-woven carpets, and shoe production are the main activities of the "Zari Sughd " Subsidiary Enterprise. During the presentation of the company's products, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon drew the attention of workers and specialists to competitive high-quality production.

Also, on the same day, the project of new facilities under construction was presented. Renovation of the zone of extraction of precious metals, the project of processing and decontamination of radioactive waste, the construction of a modern logistics center with 100 jobs, the establishment of a joint enterprise for the processing of scrap paper and the production of products from it, a factory for the production of polyethylene containers and pipes, and the construction of two high-rise residential and service buildings are among the future plans of the enterprise.

 The Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to the relevant officials of the industry and specialists of the enterprise for the full use of existing opportunities, attracting capital, restoring idle capacities, expanding production opportunities based on the technology of producing competitive products, creating new jobs and increasing the production of import substitution products.

On November 18, in continuation of his working visit to Bobojon Ghafurov district, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, launched the operation of an enterprise for the production of polyethylene curtains - "Polymer Technology" LLC.

The new production enterprise was built on the initiative of the local businessman Saidkhoja Zikriyokhujaev, and more than 20 million somoni were spent on its equipment. The enterprise was put in commission within the framework of the implementation of industrial development goals and is a part of the Action Plan dedicated to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the industrial enterprise started to operate in 2009, and a decision was made to modernize the enterprise in order to produce products in accordance with market requirements and export them abroad.

Renovation of the enterprise and its technological lines was launched in 2023, and devices and equipment were imported from Italy. 25 local residents were employed at the polyethylene curtain production plant.

Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon commended the entrepreneur's actions for activating this enterprise and assisting in the process of rapid industrialization of the country, taking into account the fact that the product is an import substitute, he gave instructions and guidance on increasing the volume of production, providing for domestic needs and gaining a position in the domestic and foreign markets.

The capacity of the enterprise is the production of more than 2 thousand tons of curtains and other polyethylene materials per year. Raw materials for the production of polyethylene curtains are mainly imported from abroad.

This type of product is intended for the needs of agriculture and packaging of industrial materials.

The technological line is a new generation of industrial devices, produces products according to European standards and is one of the first in the region. The advantage of the company's products is that polyethylene curtains are produced using the latest technology of developed countries. The worthy action of the businessman was considered important in the realization of the goal of the Government of the country in the direction of rapid industrial development.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with samples of the company's products at the LLC "Polymer Technology" polyethylene curtains enterprise, called the entrepreneur's work instructive and gave him useful advice to strengthen the activity and increase the volume of production in the future.

 

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated "Nazar" LLC poultry breeding enterprise in the town of Ghafurov, Bobojon Ghafurov district, Sughd Province.

This enterprise was built on the initiative of businesswoman Karomat Nazarova with the cost of more than 11 million somoni, providing 50 people with well-paid jobs.

Pointing to the contribution of women in the development of business, the Leader of the Nation emphasized that every action taken by women in any direction is worthy of support. The management of the enterprise was advised to increase the volume of production and contribute to ensuring the abundance of the market.

The production process at this enterprise includes almost all stages of poultry breeding, and about 270,000 chicks are taken from one hatchery through hatchery breeding.

Further, the breeding of chickens is mainly focused on meat production.

During the introduction, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that more than 250 thousand chickens are being raised in the company. It was emphasized that "Nazar" LLC with the trademark "Daleron" is one of the largest enterprises of the Sughd Province, which has a significant contribution in supplying the consumer market with dietary meat.

The role of the enterprise in the implementation of the Poultry Industry Development Program in the Republic of Tajikistan is also significant.

In order to expand the direction of activity and increase production indicators in the company, the incentives provided by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan are purposefully used.

In this enterprise, the production of mixed bird feed is also established, and its production capacity is equal to 5 tons per hour.

This company has effective activity in the cities of Dushanbe, Khujand and Bobojon Ghafurov district, employing more than 150 people.

During the introduction to the activity of the production enterprise, the President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that poultry farming has been considered one of the developing areas of the agricultural sector in recent years. It is an efficient and productive industry and plays a key role in ensuring food security, which is one of the strategic goals of the Government.

 

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as part of his working visit to Sughd Province, launched in Bobojon Ghafurov district the activity of "Faroghatbonu" LLC shoe factory.

This enterprise was built by the domestic businessman Parviz Juraev as part of the measures to welcome the 35th anniversary of the State Independence. It produces 20 types of men's shoes.

The total area of the enterprise is 1200 square meters.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, while visiting the working conditions and the production process at the factory, praised the quality of its products and called the operation of the shoe factory in Bobojon Ghafurov district an exemplary step.

The company's products are sold in the markets of Sughd Province, Dushanbe and other cities and districts of the country.

The equipment of the workshop is of a new generation and is installed in 16 production lines. The technology of the workshop is energy-efficient and operates 50 percent automatically. The shoe factory produces 30,000 to 50,000 pairs of shoes per year, depending on demand. The annual demand of the residents of the district for shoes is 165 thousand pairs, and the entrepreneurs intend to expand the production capacity of the enterprise in the future.

It is worth noting that 20 people will be employed at the first stage of the enterprise's operation, and if the enterprise is fully operational, more than 50 people will be provided with permanent jobs and high salaries. Each employee goes through short training courses and then is recruited.

Within the framework of the implementation of the instructions and orders of the Head of State, women and girls are also employed in this enterprise.

Raw materials for the production of products at this enterprise are supplied partly from within and partly from abroad. The product is first tested and then put on sale.

The Leader of the Nation, while visiting the exhibition of the factory's products, instructed to continue to pay attention to the quality of production and to contribute to the supply of the domestic market by increasing its volume.

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to the cities and districts of Sughd Province, commissioned the State Institution of a special sports school for football in Isfisor rural community of Bobojon Ghafurov district.

The foundation work on this sports facility started in March 2023 and was completed on an area of 7 hectares in a period of more than 1 year with the involvement of almost 30 local builders in accordance with the requirements of the time.

This facility consists of a large 7,000-seat stadium, a sports field, offices, changing rooms and a meeting hall for 40 people.

At the same time, instructors can conduct theoretical lessons at this place. The installation of spotlights in the stadium allows for unhindered competitions and training in the evenings.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the sportsmen of the district, in response to the concerns of the top leadership of the country, have effectively used the provided opportunities and made significant achievements in the field of sports.

It was emphasized that football has many fans in the district, and the team that plays in the second league of the country is the women's football team of the district.

Every year, teenagers and young people of the district make significant achievements in national and international competitions.

Along with establishment of the first state institution of a special sports school for football in the countryside of Isfisor, 8 coaches were recruited, who will contribute to the education of skilled and famous athletes of the nation on the world stage.

It should be mentioned that in the period of the country's independence, with the direct attention of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon to the field of sports, radical changes took place in the district. In particular, this sports institution is their best example.

 

During his working trip to Sughd Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned “Sayri Sughd” enterprise in the Sughd Free Economic Zone.

The Sayri Sughd enterprise was built in the light of the wise and creative policy of the Leader of the Nation by the domestic entrepreneur Mirzojon Umarov for 23 million somoni.

The Sayri Sughd enterprise produces children's toys and electric scooters. The production volume per month is 250 electric scooters and 20,000 children's toys.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that currently the enterprise produces 14 brands of electric scooters, which differ in load capacity and other technical specifications. Currently, 60 people work in two shifts, and according to the plan, the number of employees will be increased to 150 in the near future.

The enterprise has installed the necessary technology from the People's Republic of China. Part of the raw materials, such as plastic materials, are supplied from abroad. The main raw material, namely iron ore, is domestic.

"Sayri Sughd" electric scooters are also exported abroad, and according to the head of the enterprise, the export directions will increase in the near future.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that the requirements of the modern world for the production of all kinds of goods using green technologies have been established, and in order to fully achieve this level of work, specialists must have comprehensive knowledge and enrich their experience as much as possible.

 

On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, participated in the Honey, Potato and Pomegranate Festival.

Fruits, vegetables, cereals, rice, dried fruits, honey and other types and samples of agricultural products were exhibited by the hardworking people of the cities and districts of Sughd Province in the form of pyramids and various images, which is proof of the abundant harvest in 2024.

As of November 1, 2024, compared to the same period in 2023, the number of honeybee families in Sughd Province has increased by 578 families, reaching 80,525 families. In the 10 months of this year, 1,559 tons of honey were produced in Sughd Province.

The Head of State drew the attention of relevant officials and farmers to the extensive use of the potential of the mountainous cities and districts of the region for honey production, increasing bee productivity through breeding, increasing the production of this type of food and medicinal product, and presenting the virtues of Tajik honey at the international level. Within the framework of the “Comprehensive Program for the Development of the Livestock, Poultry, Fish and Beekeeping Sectors for 2023-2027”, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan provided beekeepers in the cities and districts of the region with 520 bee colonies and 400 purebred queen bees to increase productivity and improve the breed.

Currently, experienced beekeeper Ochilboy Habibov is raising 1,000 bee colonies. From this, he sells 1,000 bee colonies to other farms every year, receiving additional profit.

Giving priority to the cultivation of domestic seed varieties, compliance with agrotechnical requirements and continuous work made it possible to produce more than 640 thousand tons of potatoes in the Sughd Province as of November 1. This figure is 105 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.

The Head of State, taking into account the current climatic conditions and the increasing demand for food in the world consumer market, considered it necessary to fully utilize natural resources, study modern technology and increasingly introduce modern practices in the cultivation of this type of vegetable in the main potato-growing cities and districts of the region - Panjakent, Istaravshan, Isfara, Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Aini, Shahriston and Devashtich.

Currently, the total area of pomegranates in Sughd Province is more than 500 hectares. The efforts of workers are aimed at increasing the opportunities for pomegranate production, taking into account the nuances of cultivation. In 2024, compared to 2023, the total area of rice cultivation in Sughd Province was expanded by 1014 hectares, reaching 9619 hectares.

In Sughd Province, the total agricultural output has increased from 2.7 billion somoni in 2010 to 18.5 billion somoni in 2023, which is an increase of 15.8 billion somoni.

The Head of State got acquainted with the fruits of the labor of farmers and considered it necessary to fully utilize natural resources to increase land efficiency in order to ensure food security.

The attention of representatives of the private sector was drawn to the wide use of incentives offered by the Government of the country, the introduction of modern technology, processing agricultural products to the final level, drying fruits in accordance with the requirements of international markets, and increasing the export of agricultural products.

Also on this day, various types of bakery products and national dishes were presented. Folk performances were demonstrated by artists.
