CORRUPTION – UNDESIRABLE PHENOMENON IN SOCIETY
On November 28, 2024, in the hall of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was conducted the meeting with the participation of the Agency Director Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur, Chief Inspector of the Anti-Corruption Department of the State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Rozikzoda Alikhon Abdulhakim, which was attended by heads of departments and other employees of the Agency, representatives of aviation enterprises of the country. The meeting discussed the implementation of the “State Strategy to Combat Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030”, reports SUE “Tajikairnavigation” with reference to the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that every employee should fight this negative phenomenon, which affects all countries of the world, and serve honestly and conscientiously in the performance of their duties. In this regard, a resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was signed on the proposal of the agency to create electronic gates in the airports of the country, the introduction of which will contribute to the prevention of corruption factors and improve the level and quality of services provided to passengers in the future.
At the same time, the representative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan expressed his opinion on the relevant points of this strategy, in particular, corruption phenomena, payment of state taxes, timely implementation of regulations in the implementation of adopted programs and laws, as well as the correct selection of personnel in accordance with their qualifications.
It should be emphasized that SUE “Tajikairnavigation” takes timely measures to implement this strategy, regularly holding meetings of the enterprise’s employees with representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan. In addition to explanatory work, measures to prevent undesirable factors are as well as constantly carried out.
In conclusion, representatives of the country’s aviation enterprises were instructed to hold a meeting with labour collectives on the above-mentioned topic and convey its essence to employees.
