RESULTS OF ACTIVITIES IN 2024

The results of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, OJSC “Somon Air”, JSC “Tajik Air”, JSC “Dushanbe International Airport” activities in 2024 have been summarized with representatives of domestic and foreign mass media.
At the press conference, Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan stated that with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, necessary measures are being taken in order to improve aviation safety in the country, expand the geography of flights and launch domestic flights.
In this context, it was highlighted that in 2024, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and its branches in Khujand, Bokhtar and Kulob cities served 71 thousand 459 aircraft, which is 19,929 or 38.7% more than in the same period of 2023. During this period, the number of transit flights reached 48,562. In order to facilitate the expansion of the geography of flights and the opening of new corridors, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with the Air Traffic Management Bureau in the Xinjiang region of the People’s Republic of China, Cooperation Agreement between the regional Centers of Dushanbe and Urumqi, and Cooperation Agreement between the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and SUE Center “Uzaeronavigation”. As well as, in order to bring the quality of air navigation services into line with international requirements, representatives of the enterprise participated in high-level industry events in various countries of the world.
In conclusion, media representatives received answers to their questions concerning the opening of new routes, implementation of domestic flights and increasing the number of flights to different regions of the country, introduction of “electronic gates” in 4 international airports of the country, as well as implementation of the “National Safety Program of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2030”.
