DELEGATION OF TAJIKISTAN ATTENDED THE GLOBAL IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT SYMPOSIUM IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

On February 10-12, 2025 Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda took part and spoke at the Global Implementation Support Symposium, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, reports the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Global Implementation Support Symposium was attended by the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Juan Carlos Salazar, the Regional Director for Europe and North Atlantic of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Nicolas Rallo, the Director General of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority Saif Mohammed Alsuwaidi, as well as the heads of civil aviation authorities from more than 35 countries.
The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda spoke about flight safety and aviation security, as well as about expanding cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization and foreign countries.
The issue of opening direct flights on Dushanbe — Abu Dhabi and Dushanbe – Sharjah routes was discussed at a meeting between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of the United Arab Emirates Saif Muhammad Alsuwaidi, reports the Civil Aviation Agency.
The parties also discussed the issue of opening cargo flights between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates. Also, as part of Global Implementation Support Symposium, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency met with the General Director of Air Arabia and the Regional Director of Wizz Air.
The parties exchanged views on the opening of new routes, as well as attracting foreign investment in the civil aviation sector of Tajikistan. It should be noted that the meetings with the heads of airlines of Arab countries were held with the aim of further promoting the development of the country’s civil aviation industry.
