In the framework of the initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and as a result of the successful negotiations between the Heads of State of the two states – President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov which took place during the state visit of the President of Tajikistan to Bishkek, “Somon Air” has resumed Dushanbe-Bishkek flight.

As part of this flight, which took place on March 14, 2025, representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” visited the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzairnavigation” and met with its management and specialists.

During the meeting, establishing cooperation in the provision of air navigation services, such as cooperation between the Departments of the Air Traffic Services, CNS and the Aviation Meteorological Centers of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and SE “Kyrgyzairnavigation” was discussed.

The two sides agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between air navigation enterprises, taking advantage of the peace and unity.

At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and SE “Kyrgyzairnavigation” was signed by Davron Shodmonbekzoda, First Deputy General Director of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and Omurov Torokeldi Kamchibekovich, General Director of the SE “Kyrgyzairnavigation”.

At the same time, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” delegation visited the SE “Kyrgyzairnavigation” Control Tower and got acquainted with the process of providing air navigation services.

The parties also agreed that the next meeting will be held in Dushanbe at the end of March this year.

It should be mentioned that the restoration of cooperation between aviation enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan will give a significant impetus to the development of the aviation sector of both countries and create a favorable basis for the increase in flights through the airspace of the two countries.
