RESULTS OF OPERATIONS IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2025

The summary of the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” in the first quarter of 2025 was conducted with the participation of the Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Aziz Nabizoda, enterprise management and employees.
As part of the enterprise management initiatives to expand the flights geography and correspond the air navigation services level and quality into line with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, implementation of the “Project on Capacity Development for the Implementation of Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) in the Republic of Tajikistan” was successfully completed. The work carried out was discussed at the sixth meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee on the “Capacity Development Project for the Implementation of Performance-Based Navigation in Tajikistan” with the participation of representatives of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director Loik Begijonzoda, Chief Representative of JICA Tajikistan Imai Seiju, JICA specialists, and other officials.
During the reporting period, the 6th meeting on the Coordination of communication, navigation and control systems for air traffic management (CNS/ATM) between high-ranking representatives of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China and the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted at the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, the main goal of which was to implement the state and government policy to transform the Republic of Tajikistan into a transit country.
As reported, as a result of the resumption of airline flights and the increase in the flights geography, during the reporting period, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and its branches at the International Airports of Khujand, Kulob and Bokhtar served 14,868 aircraft. The main reason for the increase in flights was the implementation of transit flights by foreign and domestic airlines. During this period, the number of transit flights amounted to 9,578.
According to the enterprise Action Plan, during the reporting period, specialists carried out regular activities to restore radio technical, meteorological and other technical means, and during this period, the level of competence of the forecast indicators of the Aviation Meteorological Center according to the “TAF” system was 90%.
In conclusion, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” activities in the first quarter of 2025 were assessed as satisfactory, and it was emphasized that further necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of flights in the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan, improve the level and quality of air navigation services, increase the geography of flights, and improve the knowledge and skills of specialists at the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”.
