On July 27, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” employees regular training took place on the topic “Water is sustainable development source” and “State Anti-Corruption Strategy”. The meeting was attended by Deputy General Director Rahimjon Saidzoda, heads of enterprise departments and constituent structures.

Hayot Boltaev, engineer-electrician of the Power Supply Department, spoke on the topic “Water - sustainable development source” and recalled that Tajikistan global initiatives in the water sector have always been supported by the international community, which has played an important role in increasing and expanding Tajikistan influence at the international level. Since the “International Year of Freshwater” (2003), International Decade for Action “Water for Life”, 2005 - 2015, International Year of Water Cooperation (2013), International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018 – 2028 and, finally, the announcement of 2025 as the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers, and March 21st as the World Glaciers Day, are among the most important global initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan. Above initiatives caused world community recognition the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, as the founder of all international initiatives and actions in the water sector. In this regard, it was emphasized that Tajikistan occupies one of the outstanding places in the world in terms of water resources per capita. About 60 percent Central Asian water resources existed on Tajikistan territory. Currently, all measures and search for solutions to all water management issues, solving challenges in providing population of the world with clean water, international cooperation related to water issues are carried out with the active participation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

 

Sharaf Izatulloev, Head of the Legal Department, in his speech on “State Anti-Corruption Strategy” emphasized that the prevention of any undesirable phenomena, especially corruption, is considered the main basis for observing the rights and interests of citizens, countering corruption is the task of the state bodies and civil society. It was emphasized that daily activities of the enterprise are conducted based on the current legislation, and employees are making efforts to conscientiously fulfill their duties at a professional level.

      

In conclusion, it was mentioned that in order to prevent corruption cases, enterprise has a permanent hotline, and the necessary measures have been taken to prevent cases of corruption. The meeting was conducted in the spirit of constructive dialogue and allowed to raise the awareness of employees about the state policy in the field of combating corruption.
