Aviation meteorological support provision for international and national air navigation in the Republic of Tajikistan is carried out by the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Aviation Meteorological Center. In order to improve aviation meteorological services level in the enterprise, upgrade meteorological equipment and improve aviation meteorology employees knowledge and skills, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” management has created all conditions, and for further improving the meteo service, various measures are implemented.

As a result of the implemented measures, based on TAF system forecast indication in the nine months of 2023 was reached up to 93.4% that considered one of the center achievements. Another center achievement is that from October 5, 2023, meteorological staff of the Aviation Meteorological Center and the Civil Aviation Meteorological Station (CAMS) of the Enterprise branch in Khujand successfully switched to the 24-hour weather forecast for Dushanbe and Khujand airports. In turn, TAF forecasts for CAMS branches in Kulob and Bokhtar, by AMC forecasts are provided from 9 to 12 hours.
