In order to provide meteorological information, which is considered one of the important aspects of flight safety, today the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” management uses available opportunities and is taking necessary measures to modernize the industry equipment.

As part of these measures to ensure local flights safety, meteorological equipment with solar panels is gradually being installed in Murghab district, Khorog city, Vanj, Jirgatal, Dangara districts, Penjikent and Isfara cities.

Meteorological equipment is designed to measure temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction.

It should be noted that meteorological data from Murgob district, Khorog city, Vanj, Jirgatal and Dangara districts will be received by forecasters of the Aviation Meteorological Center of Dushanbe, and meteorological data from Penjikent and Isfara cities by forecasters of Civil Aviation Meteorological Station in Khujand branch.
