As a result of regular support and inititaves of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe City, Rustam Emomali on strengthening aviation cooperation between Tajikistan and China, on December 5, 2023, in the National Library of Tajikistan was conducted the 4^th SUE“Tajikairnavigation” of Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China CNS/ATM Coordination meeting and signing of Letter of Agreement between Dushanbe and Urumqi ACCs. Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Director Dilshod Safarzoda, Director General of SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Loiq Begijonzoda, delegation of guests from the civil aviation authorities of the People’s Republic of China, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Tajikistan Ji Shumin, Consular to the Asia-Pacific Countries Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muhammad Egamzod, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” specialists and representatives of mass media took part in the meeting and delivered a speech.

   

The Civil Aviation Agency Director opened the meeting and welcomed the guests to Tajikistan. During the speech, Dilshod Safarzoda mentioned that until now a lot of work has been done to strengthen cooperation between Tajikistan and China in civil aviation. 

In his speech, Director General of SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Loiq Begijonzoda noted that with the direct support of the top management of both countries, cooperation in the field of civil aviation between Tajikistan and China is rising to a new level. During planned activities implementation, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” has organized various meetings in recent years, to create favourable conditions for opening a new route between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China, significant works have been completed, and the level of navigation services has been adjusted to ICAO requirements. At the same time, it was stated that the enterprise, as one of the important structures in the field of aviation, makes efforts to cooperate with Chinese partners in order to improve air navigation services, launch new routes and activate relations between Tajikistan and China in this direction.

   

During the meeting, the representatives of China also expressed interesting views on mutually beneficial cooperation and solving this issue beneficial for both sides.

Then, at the solemn ceremony, the new Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China on the opening of the new POMIR-SHENCHE route was signed by Loik Begijonzoda, Director General of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and Liu Wenci Director General, Xinjiang Regional Air Traffic Management Bureau of the People’s Republic of China in the presence Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Director Dilshod Safarzoda and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Tajikistan, Ji Shumin.

It should be noted that the opening of the new route not only increases the number of flights between Tajikistan and China, but also creates a reliable basis for international air communication with other countries of the world.

   

  

During the commemoration, the representatives of both sides took commemorative pictures, and in order to further strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation, the parties presented each other with souvenirs.
